KGNU interview is online On November, 5th Libbie was interviewed by the Denver radio station KGNU (88.5 FM), as a preview for her upcoming Denver house concert on 11/16 and SBL research presentation on 11/19. Radio interview in Denver Libbie will be interviewed on KGNU-FM (a Denver independent radio station) on Monday, November 5th at 9:45am MT/11:45am EST. Tune in at 88.5 FM Boulder/Denver, 98.7 FM Fort Collins, and 93.7 FM Nederland, or online. This interview is a preview for Libbie's 11/16 house concert at Five Points Live, and her 11/19 research presentation at the SBL/AAR Annual Meetings in Denver, the largest conference of religion scholars in the world.
Libbie's research featured in the Daily Beast Libbie's Harvard Theological Review article is being featured by the online news platform The Daily Beast! Journalist and scholar Candida Moss writes, "for the first time there is a plausible scholarly argument for the idea that Mary Magdalene was written out of the Bible and the history books." Presenting new Mary Magdalene research at the SBL Annual Meeting Libbie has been selected to present new research about the text of John's Gospel at the New Testament Textual Criticism panel at this year's SBL Annual Meeting, the world's biggest conference of Bible scholars. This year the meeting will take place at the Denver Convention Center in Denver, CO. For details about that meeting, click here. Libbie's paper is called "Rabbouni, which means Lord: Textual and Narrative Variants in John 20:16." She will be discussing the many textual variations found in manuscripts of this climactic verse when Mary Magdalene recognizes the risen Jesus.
