SBL Annual Meeting presentation in November Libbie has been invited to present her research again at the SBL Annual Meeting! The SBL Annual Meeting is the largest conference of Biblical scholars in the world - approximately 10,000 scholars will be convening in Boston this year - and it is a huge honor to be invited. Libbie will be presenting her research about Luke 7:39-50's "sinful woman" at the Gospel of Luke panel this November.
Presenting research at Grace Episcopal Church Libbie has been invited to present her research at two consecutive "Sunday Forum" gatherings at the historic Grace Episcopal Church in Greenwich Village. Mark your calendars for February 5th and February 12th - hope to see the New Yorkers there!
Harvard Theological Review is LIVE! Libbie's Harvard Theological Review article, "Was Martha of Bethany Added to the Fourth Gospel in the Second Century?", has been released! Libbie's Master's Thesis research, 'Was Martha of Bethany Added to the Fourth Gospel in the Second Century?", has been approved for publication by the Harvard Theological Review! HTR is one of the foremost theological journals in the world, and is widely read by many scholars.
